The Institution of Surveyors Victoria stands for excellence, competence and the highest professional standards.
We believe that achieving this excellence requires continued development and skill-building. This helps build up the profession in the eyes of the community and industry.
As a member of the ISV, you are required to take part in Continuing Professional Education and Development (CPED). Each member will achieve a minimum 15-credit point commitment across each 12-month period running July 1 to June 30. This commitment can be achieved through either:
- Continuing education: which can include formal study, research and writing, short courses, seminars, workshops and various other approaches to informal study.
- Personal endeavour: such as professional practice, management, supervision, committee services, community service, and service to self.
Following this path of constant development will ensure that the profession of surveying remains trusted, respected and robust.
